The TechSupport Department of the SoftLab-NSK company informs on expansion of the "Forward Goalkeeper" products set.
"Forward Goalkeeper" is a multichannel recording and slow motion instant replay system. The system is designed to broadcast sports programs with slow motion instant replays.
At the beginning of October, 2011 one of our clients was sent the first "4-channel SDI/HDI Forward Goalkeeper" instance. So appeared new set in the "Forward Goalkeeper" product line designed for working with SDI in HD resolution.
"Forward Goalkeeper" deals with new FD422 board (PCI-Express 1õ). At system assembling 64 bite Windows 7 OS with more than 4 GB of RAM is used. It avoids using swap file. In this case all applications are executed in RAM that significantly quickens work of the system.
There are 3 sets in the "Forward Goalkeeper" product line at the moment:
- set for working with CVBS/YUV/RGB analog signals in SD resolution (2/4/6/8 channels) – on base of the FD300/FD322 boards
- set for working with SDI signals in SD resolution (2/4/6/8 channels) – on base of the FD422 board
- set for working with SDI signals in HD resolution (2/3/4 channels) – on base of the FD422/FD842 boards

Support of a new technology - HTTP Live Streaming (HTTP LS) will be added to new release (5.4.0) of the ForwardTS (work with MPTS) product set. This protocol is designed by Apple for broadcasting of video via standard HTTP. The technology allows broadcasting TV channel, for example, on all Apple devices ( iPod / iPhone / iPad).

| 04.10.2010 | SoftLAb-NSK offers a new product under the "Forward Referee" name. According to new technical regulations of Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) each hockey team should have its own system of goals and disputed events video fixation.
The "Forward Referee" system meets all requirements of KHL regulations. It can be a work place for video goal judge during official matches.
The "Forward Referee" system is successfully used at KHL matches from 2010/2011 hockey season by Sibir (Novosibirsk), Avangard (Omsk region) and other hockey teams.

SoftLab-NSK Company would like to announce new software plugins for ForwardTx product line. These plugins present additional program options that extend the power of ForwardTx products.
Users of Forward TA / TA2 / TP / TP2 could use new plugins to solve different tasks. Also some of these plugins are compatible with Forward TS products.
The plugins are sold as single software licences.
"Try and buy" offers are welcome : we grant a temporary plugin key for 1 - 3 months testing.
